madcountymusic asked: I just got a lexicon omega recording interface. It connects into the usb of my computer. It was working fine last night. Now when I go to control panel, then sounds and audio devices the device volume option is blocked to me. I can see it, but it will not let me select it and it turns all the way down when you plug the interface in. If you unplug the interface, the clicks back to the advance and turns up. I can still hear all sounds, from the mic running throught the interface, but it will not register on the meter on the recording program. Any ideas on how to get the volume turned up? I’m running windows.

my2cents asked: EPOC apparently just came out with the first commerical
brain-computer interface, where it actually reads your thoughts and responds to it (I think). What do you think about its future civilian and military uses? Is there anyone who can give good info on this?

johnofthemount asked: Many Hollywood movies show that when people work on computers, especially in spy/government centered movies, there is a kind of interface not of the basc windows variety. Anyone know a way to customize an interface to resemble this?
