I’m a sophomore robotics student, but study nothing about robot yet ( I guess it’s for 3rd year ^_^ ). I want to start doing something now, where should I start?

Check the Internet. There are many websites that offer small or inexpensive robotics kits, mostly for hobbyists but these are great places start learning. You will learn about motion, dynamics (mass plus inertia plus motion), positioning, etc.
